Every day presents a sacred opportunity—a chance to draw closer to the One who calls us to something greater. For those of us who are on the journey of faith, the Mass is not simply a ritual. It's a divine appointment, a holy encounter where heaven meets earth, and our souls are nourished.
This morning at Mass, I was struck by a single phrase that lingered in my heart:
"Greater purpose, greater calling."
Isn’t that what we all long for? To know that our lives matter—that our struggles, our joys, our routines, all point to something beyond ourselves?
Mass reminds us of that. It roots us in the truth that life isn’t just about survival or success—it’s about sacrifice, communion, and love.
And love—true love—is wanting the best for another. It's not about self-interest or transaction. It's a quiet offering. A prayer whispered on someone else’s behalf. A small act of kindness no one sees.
This is our calling:
To live lives that reflect Christ’s love, to serve even when it’s inconvenient, and to nourish our own spirits so we can pour into others. Because we can’t give what we haven’t received.
So today, feed your soul.
Sit in stillness.
Receive the Eucharist with reverence.
Ask God to show you the greater purpose tucked inside the ordinary moments of your life.
Because the truth is—every day is a holy day when your heart is open to God’s presence.
